What We Do
Foundations First Ministries is a discipleship ministry to help equip the men and women of God develop the skills , gifts and talents the Lord has given them in the five fold ministry. The Pastors receive first hand experience in preaching the Word of God, and in praying for others. and Ephesians 4:11 - " Now these are the gifts Christ have to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers."
Service to the Community
Foundations First Ministries is an ongoing ministry to the homeless who primarily reside in the International District in the city of Albuquerque. ***We are a frontline ministry, serving, and meeting the needs of the homeless population in the city of Albuquerque seven days a week. Our main service is on Saturday evening. We open our doors, and welcome in the guests with coffee, and desserts. We then administer the Word of God, through worship, and wholesome bible teachings. After service we provide a hot, and delicious meal, clothing, hygiene, and necessities for our guests.
We are also prepared to provide resources such as shelter, drug addiction programs, and housing placement as necessary.
Doctrinal Belief
We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (the Triune God). We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, manifest in the form of a man to die on the cross for the sins of mankind. We believe Jesus died a physical death, He was put in the tomb, and then rose again on the third day. He ascended into Heaven, and forever sits at the right hand of the Father. Whosoever believes, and accepts His atoning death as a propitiation for their sins will have eternal life.
